How to Find Us

 

Sheffield Scout Sailing’s waterbase is at Dam Flask Reservoir about 5 miles from Sheffield city centre.

 

We are part of Sheffield Viking Sailing Club whose clubhouse we share.

The Clubhouse Telephone number is 0114 285 1194.  but only available when sailing takes place if there is someone in the clubhouse.

 

 

Directions

 

From Malin Bridge (Hillsborough) follow Loxley Road (initially B6077) west towards Bradfield.  At 2.6 miles from Malin Bridge is the Nags Head Public House.   After a further 0.3 miles (2.9 total) go straight on at road junction, keeping reservoir on the left.   After a further 0.3 miles (3.2 in total) take the gated drive on the left with Yorkshire Water Sign “Dam Flask”.   Follow drive 100m down towards the water and bear right along the waters edge for 250m to the Viking Sailing Club.

 

The road from Malin Bridge is Loxley Road all the way to the Club.
